Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL)

Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) is an accounting standard that requires financial institutions to estimate expected credit losses over the full life of their loans. Since 2023, CECL has applied to financial reporting for all federally insured credit unions. LoanStreet Reporting includes CECL reporting for loan participations and other loans.
