Yield

Yield is the internal rate of return (IRR) on a loan purchase, such as a loan participation, based on the purchase price including accrued interest and the projected cash flows the buyer will receive, accounting for their timing. Yield is usually annualized as a monthly or semi-annual bond-equivalent yield. Prepayments, losses and the servicing spread all affect realized yield.
